Well, blow me down...

Today was the toughest leg of the journey so far for Toby and Andy. They battled persistent, strong headwinds and rain for the whole day - 126 miles and 13 hours. I wonder if Hank will be impressed now?

Following a “cosy” night in their cabin bunks, the team arrived around 06:00 at the port of Caen, which is the third largest city in Normandy after Rouen and Le Havre. However, not much sightseeing was done by the boys who cracked on in unfavourable conditions (I have to use polite language on here, guys). To add to the excitement, there were no sockets in the cabins, so the team were running short on power for phones, GPS, etc.

At today’s destination, ChancĂ© (near Rennes, Brittany), the boys got as many carbs on board as humanely possible (without being sick). Tonight they will be sleeping like logs. They should be very proud of themselves.
